Concept Mapping

This is the concept-map about home stuffs. I would let the students make their own map about this topic. If my students are elementary pupils, I would assign them into some groups, and then require each group to make a map about stuffs in different room. Finally, the leader of each group will gather together and make the whole big map.
This method will not only organize and analyze the information, think critically, but also improve their group-working skills. They will need to remember the stuffs and furniture which they are familiar with at home, contribute the idea and then learn about new stuffs that they haven't heard about before. Moreover, they need to vote for the leader of group, share the responsible and work, such as finding photos, sharing ideas, or presenting the result.
